Particle Board

I have a 4 ft x 4 ft particle board sewing table that was custom made for me. It is in good shape other than the 4x4 bottom. The wheels got caught in carpeting and the edges on one side has broken off in several pieces. That same piece has a hairline crack down the middle. I am looking for someone to duplicate this bottom piece or repair it. I have read that it could fixed by using some type of "plaster filling"; however, I think replacing it would be the best fix. It has a large + about 1" wide cut so that the middle boards nestle in the bottom.

Does this sound possible to repair?

Would you be willing to do this work? Can you give an approximate cost and timeframe?

Jessie, the best thing to do is take a couple of simple camera phone pictures and just send them directly from your phone to my email... That address is... woodoctr@aol.com That is all lower case and watch the unusual spelling of woodoctr Once I have your pictures I can blow them up and put some filters over them for clarity. I should be able to then tell you IF we can do the work and then give you pricing and timeframes....
